FEEM Basilicata
FEEM has been present in Basilicata since 2007 and, consistent with its leading research stance devoted to sustainability issues, aims to support regional decision-making and planning processes through studies, analysis and publications on urban and territorial regeneration and to promote good practices, based on technological innovation and circular economy principles, with particular attention to the sectors of agriculture, tourism and the enhancement of natural and cultural heritage.
FEEM in Basilicata, through agreements, letters of intent and conventions, implements projects and multidisciplinary initiatives linked to policy support, engagement, partnership and networking, training, education and scientific dissemination. All these activities fall within the framework of the UN 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In addition, FEEM aims to support local institutions in the definition, implementation and monitoring of a sustainable urban regeneration program across the local territory in order to achieve sustainable development at the urban and territorial scale, the enhancement and promotion of environmental and cultural heritage, and the maximization of development opportunities for the tourism-based local economy.
