International Environmental Agreements & CTN – IEA&CTN
The objective of IEA&CTN is to contribute to the design of international environmental agreements by advancing research in the area of coalition and network formation applied to the environmental field. In order to meet this goal, innovative research on coalition and network formation is carried out at the theoretical, empirical and experimental levels, within the modelling tools developed and used by FEEM researchers to analyse the energy, economy and climate systems.

The Coalition Theory Network (CTN), a network co-founded by FEEM in 1998, appears as the natural platform for discussion and presentation of the results produced by IEA&CTN. CTN is an association of eight high level scientific institutions, aimed at the advancement and the diffusion of research in the area of coalition formation. Through the CTN Annual Workshops and sessions at Public Economic Theory conferences, its newsletters and working paper series, CTN provides many forums for exchanging ideas relevant to the field.
