The project provides also technical background to the Chinese central government as concerns the drafting of energy laws.
CHINA does so by putting the experience of energy management from developed countries and regions at the disposal of China, by analysing and assessing the efficiency of China current energy management policies and measures, and by making proposals to the Chinese decision-making departments on how to improve energy management and policy.
The desired final output of the project is to help Chinese policy-makers and local authorities to manange environmental protection and sustainable development issues and to raise their awareness in the field.
