The concerted action involves ten other European research institutes, bringing together all key researchers currently co-ordinating or participating in the major EU-funded research programmes in the field.

The concerted action focuses on key sensitivities and adaptive capabilities (rather than simply assessed impacts), analysed with a high degree of integration, between impact science and policy implications, sectors, regions and weather/extreme events and climate change.
