Luca Farnia holds a Master of Science (MSc) in “Mathematical Economics and Econometric Methods” (Tilburg University, NL), a “Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance” (Venice International University, IT) and a Laurea Magistrale in Economics and Business (Cà Foscari University, IT).
He is an expert in the construction of composite indices, especially in weighting and aggregation approaches (additive and non-additive methods by means of fuzzy measures); in multi criteria preferences’ elicitation; econometric analysis and time series forecast. He is expert in program language R Cran.
He is Task Force Member on Leading, Composite and Sentiment Indicators, at United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
He is Adjunct Professor at Cà Foscari University (Venice, Italy) at Science and Technology faculty where he teaches “Review of Calculus”.
He is author of several articles in peer-review journals in the field of sustainability, decision science and energy.
