Growing disparities in multiple dimensions have contributed to feelings of unfairness and discontent. Fairness is always in the eye of the beholder. A widespread perception of unfairness in society can have far-reaching consequences, making it important to investigate the drivers and underlying dynamics of fairness perceptions and inequalities.
