Workshop on “Climate Change and Public Goods”
Meno di un minuto
Achieving international agreements on climate change and other global environmental problems pose classic challenges in dealing with public goods and common pool resources, but ones of unsurpassed importance for the future of humanity. How can we achieve cooperation at the international level in achieving enforceable treaties? How should such treaties be structured? How effective would polycentric approaches be in reaching solutions? What can we learn from recent work in building insurance arrangements, in mechanism design, and more generally in dynamic game theory? This workshop will bring together ecologists, economists and others to explore recent advances.
