Seminar on an agent-based approach for farmers’ adaptation to Climate Change in the Venice Lagoon
Meno di un minuto
FEEM researcher Sabindra Bhandari will present an agent-based model to simulate farmers’ irrigation behaviour when adapting to Climate Change in the Venice Lagoon Watershed for the period 2015 to 2030.
Farming agents take adaptation decisions concerning irrigation management on the basis of their own information about weather conditions, thus affecting the crop and irrigation parameters, which in turn affect the future hydrological needs of the area.
