May 29, 2014 – Venice, Italy: FEEM-IEFE seminar on “Transferable vs Non Transferable Utiliy in Coalitional Stability Analysis of IAMs”
Meno di un minuto
Henry Tulkens, from Université Catholique de Louvain presents in this month’s FEEM-IEFE seminar a work co-authored with Ulrike Kornek and Kai Lessman. The authors provide a framework for comparing the treatment of coalitions in five game theoretically minded IAMs. They extend the definition of two stability concepts (potential internal stability and core stability) to games without transferable utility, assuming instead the transferability of some physical good. They also show that potential internal stability and core stability of coalitions can be tested by solving a simple optimization problem.
