FEEM Seminar “Do Land Conservation Programs Crowd Out or Crowd in Each Others’ Conservation?”
Meno di un minuto
Resource land conservation provides a wide range of environmental benefits, that may vary according to the spatial pattern or contiguity of conservation activities.
The analysis of the interaction of the new Rural Legacy program in Maryland with other existing conservation programs in the designated land is the focus of the seminar by Xiangping Liu, University of Gothenburg, to be held on Tuesday December 6, 2011, at FEEM premises in Milan. Parcel level data and a propensity score matching method are used to empirically test the ‘crowding-in’ effect of multiple conservation programs.
