FEEM at the Seventh Climate Week in New York City
FEEM is proud to announce its participation at the Seventh Climate Week NYC that will convene in New York City in September 2015. Organized by The Climate Group, an international non-profit that works with corporate and government partners to promote innovation and supportive policy frameworks for a low carbon future, Climate Week NYC brings together global figures – and new voices – from the worlds of business, government and society who are leading the low carbon transition.
Within Climate Week NYC, FEEM will organize two important side events:
- “Funding Low Carbon Transition: the Role of the Financial System” on September 24th, jointly organized with France Stratégie, which gathers top-level experts and policymakers in the fields of climate change, finance, and monetary policy, to discuss the possible contributions of financial mechanisms for carbon emission reductions.
- “Sustainable Development Goals: New Metrics for Monitoring, Verifying and Assessment” on September 24th, to present and discuss new approaches and methodologies to measure, verify and assess Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In particular, the side event will present the first results of FEEM’s APPS (Assessment, Projections and Policy of Sustainable Development Goals) project.
