“Enrico Mattei, the Partisan who Planned the Future”
On the 49th anniversary of the death of its founder, Enrico Mattei, Milan’s Provincial Council of ANPC (Italian Christian Partisan Association) has organized – with the support of Eni – the conference "Enrico Mattei, the Partisan who Planned the Future".
The conference will be held at Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei, Corso Magenta 63, Milan, on Thursday, October 27, at 9:00 a.m.
After showing scenes of the movie “Il caso Mattei”, directed by Francesco Rosi, and some original film clips, the vice president of Enrico Mattei, Giuseppe Accorinti, will take the floor, followed by the presentations of Prof. Francesco Timpano, full professor of economic policy, Prof. Claudio Besana, professor of economic history and Gianluca Pastori, lecturer in political science. The three presentations will answer 3 questions. What would Italy be like today if Enrico Mattei hadn’t died on October 27, 1962 ? What would be Italy’s role and credibility at the international level? What type of society and what economic system would Italy have?
