On Thursday May 12, 2011 – at FEEM offices in Venice, in video-conference with Milan- Shanti Gamper-Rabindran, University of Pittsburgh, will give a talk on "Does cleanup of hazardous waste sites raise housing values? Evidence of localized effects from restricted access census block data".
The seminar will illustrate the main findings of an economic analysis of the US Superfund program to clean up hazardous waste sites, showing the existence of highly localised economic benefits based on restricted-access census block-data.
