FEEM at the 3rd International SDSN Mediterranean Conference and Official Launch of the SDSN Greece
FEEM, hosting institution of SDSN Italia, will participate in the 3rd International SDSN Mediterranean Conference and Official Launch of the SDSN Greece that will be held on September 7-8, 2017, in Athens, Greece.
SDSN Greece is co-hosted by the International Centre for Research on the Environment and the Economy (ICRE8) and the Political Economy of Sustainable Development Lab. The 3rd International MED Solutions Conference will convene the SDSN networks of the Mediterranean region to collaborate and integrate programs and future activities. Moreover, the conference will provide a platform for debate and exchange of ideas across stakeholders, including network partners, policymakers and scholars. J.D. Sachs, Director of UN SDSN and Professor at the Columbia University, will be the keynote speaker of the events.
S. Ratti, Co-chair of SDSN Italia and FEEM Executive Director, will take part in the “Mediterranean Conference” to present the main activities on supporting young people to develop solutions and connect ideas for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and SDGs, also at the local level. Moreover, Lucia de Strasser, FEEM researcher, will intervene in the session on water, energy and food nexus presenting the FEEM Brief “A Nexus Perspective on Africa’s Energy Transition. Insights for decision makers”.
