Competition and Regulation European Summer School
80:00 - 20:00
The Competition and Regulation European Summer School (CRESSE) is establishing itself as the top academic summer event in the areas of Competition and Regulation Policy in Europe. Top quality instruction and excellent organisation, with a good atmosphere in beautiful surroundings explain the very good ratings given by the participants of the first, second, third and fourth Summer School organised in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
The school offers a unique opportunity for intellectual exploration in the summer. In eight distinct self-contained Modules of 8 to 16-hour duration each, it provides a comprehensive account of the most up-to-date developments in economic theory, empirical analysis and legislation in the policy areas of Competition and Regulation.
As a visiting student at CRESSE you will join a vibrant community of motivated students from all over the world and distinguished faculty as you satisfy your intellectual curiosity. Further you can earn academic credit and explore one of the most beautiful Greek resorts. The Summer School courses have been accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) by the British Law Society (see School Faculty – Modules – Teaching Schedule).
A unique feature of the Summer School is the organization of an International Conference, in an area of Competition or Regulation Policy, designed to bring together top economists and legal experts from Europe, USA and other countries. The 2010 Conference will be on "Advances in the Analysis of Competition Policy and Regulation" and will take place on the 2nd – 4th of July.
