On Thursday, February 22 at 6 p.m. Corrado Augias and Alessandro Lanza will discuss the revolutionary transformations happening in our time. They will discuss, from their respective points of view, the energy transition, climate change, the advent of artificial intelligence and its implications on society and jobs, the current demographic decline, the massive migratory phenomenon and its wider effects.

Speakers

Corrado Augias, Journalist, writer-television author. Active in the Roman theater avant-garde movement since the early 1960s, he has been a correspondent and special correspondent for L’Espresso, La Repubblica (Middle East, Paris, New York). He edited the literary column La mia Babele in the weekly Il Venerdì di Repubblica, conceived and conducted several editions of La Gioia della musica dedicated to music popularization with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra maestros Speranza Scappucci and Aurelio Canonici. After moving to the TV network La7 he  leads the weekly cultural magazine La Torre di Babele.

Alessandro Lanza, Executive Director of Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei. PhD in Economics from University College London. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of ENEA, Chairman of Sotacarbo and is a member of the editorial staff of Lavoce.info. He has held the positions of Senior Analyst at the International Energy Agency (IEA), Chief Economist at Eni and CEO of Eni Corporate University. Among his many significant experiences, it is worth mentioning his participation in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) with the role of Leading author. Founding Member of the Italian Association of Environmental and Natural Resources Economists (IAERE) and the Italian Society for Climate Science (SISC) and Chairman of the Sustainability Committee of Eurizon Capital SGR.
