Daniele Valenti obtained the MSc in Finance at the University of Pavia and the Ph.D. in Economics at the Lombardy Advanced School for Economic and Research (LASER – inter-university doctoral school in Economics, Universities of Bergamo, Brescia, Milan and Pavia), with a dissertation focusing on modelling the global price of oil in the Bayesian Structural VAR framework. He was a research fellow in the Department of Environmental Science and Policy (DESP), at the University of Milan, Italy. His research interests are mainly related to energy, environmental and agricultural economics and he is author of several papers in the international journals. Currently, Daniele is involved within the research programme Econometrics of the Energy Transition at the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei, and he is a lecturer in MSc. course in Quantitative Methods for Economics, Finance and Management, at the Carlo Cattaneo University (LIUC), Castellanza, Italy.
