Equilibri 2005.01 - Geografie

Abstract

Describing the Earth is Geography’s task. To do this, geography uses knowledge, methods, tools from a diverse range of fields. Geography describes in order to explain. Its descriptions are based on three criteria: analytical observation, identification of correlations and causality links. But what categories, concepts and models do we need to understand today’s World? What is Geography for? This issue of Equilibri will answer these questions.
