The 2010 “Carbon Mitigation Initiative” Best Paper Award for Postdoctoral Fellows goes to a FEEM researcher
On Wednesday, November 17 at the Carbon Mitigation Initiative (CMI) – BP Renewal Event hosted by Princeton University, USA, FEEM senior researcher Massimo Tavoni was announced as one of the two recipients for the 2010 CMI Best Paper Award for Postdoctoral Fellows.
CMI is a 15-year partnership among Princeton University, BP and Ford Motor Company, with the goal of finding solutions to the carbon and climate problem.
The CMI Selection Committee was impressed by Massimo’s work on the paper “Sharing Global CO2 Emission Reductions Among One Billion High Emitters”, chosen from a highly competitive pool of nominations for its high quality and recognized for its original contributions to the discussion of CO2 emissions distribution across the world’s emitting individuals while considering issues of fairness and poverty.
