The workshop is conducted under the ‘Chatham House Rule’
The rules-based international order, in place since the end of the Cold War, and predicated on multilateralism, is in crisis.
The Embassy of Canada to Italy, in collaboration with the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei, organizes a ‘Chatham House Rule’ workshop to discuss how great powers are reshaping the international order with an ad-hoc mix between bilateralism and multilateralism.
The aim is to describe how this transition period is functioning and to explain why it is challenging. A frank debate among speakers and the public is the value-added.
