This conference has been organized in occasion of the the inauguration of the new Supercomputing Center of the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC).

The conference involved the participation of key scientists in the field, as well as important local and national authorities. 

Prof. Bernardo Bortolotti, FEEM Executive Director, and Prof. Carlo Carraro, FEEM Sustainable Development Programme Coorfinator and Director of the Climate Impacts and Policies Division of the CMCC, took part in the scientific event.
