PRIMA – Partnership on Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area is a ten-year initiative (2018 – 2028) financed by a combination of funding from 19 participating countries – including Italy – and from EU’s Research and Innovation Programme Horizon 2020.
PRIMA is aimed at developing solutions for a more sustainable management of water and agro-food systems in the Mediterranean Basin and to devise new approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by the climate change impacts, increasing urbanization and population growth.
The PRIMA’s event in FEEM Milan will be focused on the support of the private sector and the research to the initiative.
