The Workshop

The increasing interest in energy and climate variables has spurred policymakers and the scientific-academic community to investigate their interactions with commodity and financial markets on one hand, and macroeconomic determinants on the other. The international workshop ‘Econometrics for the Energy Transition’ aims to promote state-of-the-art presentations and discussions on the topic, with particular attention to the statistical and econometric methods applied. The workshop will feature three main sessions focusing on: I) the impacts of climate change on economic variables; II) finance, commodity markets, and the risks of energy transition; and III) the economic effects of energy shocks.
