At FEEM, Federico is the programme director of the research program Technologies for Energy Transition. He is a research fellow at GREEN, the research center on Geography, Resources, Energy and Environment of Bocconi University, where he teaches Energy Economics and Ocean Management. Federico is also a member of the Senior Energy Advisory Program of the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) funded by Power Africa.
His areas of expertise are energy markets, environmental and water economics, with a specific focus on economic regulation of energy markets, financial analysis and the enabling conditions for private sector involvement and public-private partnerships.
Federico holds a double Ph.D. in Economics, one from Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense (mention très honorable avec les félicitations du jury) and one from Bocconi University, at the completion of a joint Ph.D. program.
