Giulia Vaglietti is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Lorraine (INRAE and Chair of Climate Economics), Paris, where she works on weather shocks and deforestation. Giulia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Technologies for the Environment and a Master’s degree in Environmental and Food Economics from the University of Milan. She specializes in environmental, energy economics and climate change. Since 2020 she has been working on resource and water management, collaborating with multiple institutions. At FEEM, joining the Technologies for Energy Transition team she will contribute to the development of an Open Energy System Modeling Toolbox for the African context, as well as in planning activities aimed at knowledge transfer to relevant stakeholders.
