Federico completed his PhD in Economics at the Trinity College in Dublin, where he was funded by the Irish Research Council, with a thesis on voting behaviour and on the political economy of organised crime, focusing on the effects of simultaneous elections on voting behaviour and on the economic and social impacts of organised crime. Federico’s research interests revolve around Political Economics and Labour Economics, with a focus on the Green Transition, Crime Economics, and Micro-econometrics. He is currently a Researcher at the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei as a part of the research project “Labour in the Low-carbon Transition (LILT)”.
