The C.E.E.A. initiated to operate in 1981 and was officially registered in Paris in 1987. The main activities of the Confederation are: the promotion of common scientific meetings (congresses, colloquia); the dissemination of information on the scientific activities of the member associations; more generally, the launching of any action in the scientific interest of the European economists.
