Filippo Tessari
(Milan, 1977) is the Research Operative Coordination, Networking and Integration Manager at FEEM.
He is delegate for the operative coordination of research activities, the managerial guidelines’ follow-up, the information and competency interactions between FEEM’s Research Programmes, as well as for the networking operations, alongside the Scientific Coordinators of the Programmes. For all the above-mentioned tasks, he directly reports to the Executive Director. He also collaborates with the Project Office and the Communication Area of FEEM for the coordination of institutional activities connected to the research and for relations with the Scientific Committee.
Moreover, he manages the operations for the Eni Award project, and is responsible for FEEM’s consultancy activities in Africa.
Between 2016 and 2018 he was Coordinator for the the cross-cutting area Pathways to sustainability in Africa, aimed to realize scientific research activities, to create networks and finalize partnerships with local institutions, and to promote outreach activities in Africa.
Between 2013 and 2015 Filippo was Deputy Coordinator for “Economy and Society”, a multidisciplinary scientific research programme on the human and social dimension of economic progress and civilization at a global scale.
He also supported FEEM’s activities in Basilicata, where he collaborated for the start-up and was the Activities’ Coordinator of FEEM’s headquarter in Viggiano (PZ) between 2007 and 2008.
He served as Secretary-General of Argis, an Italian Association for the development of academic research and knowledge related to not for profit governance.
Graduated in Philosophy with a thesis on Economic Anthropology achieved after a field research in Nepal, Filippo worked both in online and traditional publishing before joining FEEM in 2006 as economic and cultural anthropology researcher.
