Filippo Tessari (born in Milan, June 11th 1977) is the cross-cutting area Pathways to sustainability in Africa Coordinator, launched by FEEM in 2017 to realize scientific research and networking activities, the finalization of partnerships and the promotion of outreach activities for Africa and in Africa, in collaboration with universities, institutions and research centers both in Italy and in Africa – particularly in the Sub-Saharan area. He also serves as Programme Manager of the Eni Award Scientific Secretariat and supports FEEM’s activities in Basilicata, where he collaborated for thestart-up and was the Activities’ Coordinator of FEEM’s headquarter in Viggiano (PZ). Filippo is the former Deputy Coordinator of the Economy and Society Programme at FEEM, a multidisciplinary scientific research programme on the human and social dimension of economic progress and civilization at a global scale. He served as Secretary-General of Argis, an Italian Association which aims at developing academic researches and knowledge related to not for profit governance. Graduated in Philosophy with a thesis on Economic Anthropology achieved after a field research in Nepal, he worked both in online and traditional publishing and joined FEEM in 2006 as economic and cultural anthropology researcher. His research interests focus mainly on geo-strategic challenges, political risk, economic anthropology, cultural anthropology, epistemology, ethnology, corporate governance, not for profit issues, technological innovation related to energy and environment, industry-academic collaboration, scientific dissemination and scientific networks developments.
