FEEM seminar "Understanding the Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan: Does the EU Have a Climate/Energy Technology Deployment Strategy?"

This week's seminar, presented by Christian Egenhofer from the Centre for European Policy Studies, Brussels, will focus on a key EU initiative designed to push low-carbon energy technologies: the Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan.

The seminar will examine the case for government intervention to support low-carbon energy technologies in the EU, and it will concentrate on issues such as governance, carbon pricing, finance needs, (new) sources of finance and the potential synergies of the  SET-Plan with other EU policies.
