Nexus: Research, Youth, Education and Sustainable Development
The idea of sustainable development includes all three environmental, social and economic dimensions, which are usually (and wrongly) conceived as detached from the ordinary. To understand the real value of “sustainability”, and to communicate and spread it to communities means to foster a new sense of responsibility, both from the individual and collective points of view, aiming towards a change of thinking and acting. The process of raising citizens’ awareness in terms of sustainable development, especially when considering young people, starts from the activities of training and education and from the ability to support the creation of ideas and practical projects able to solve the main challenges of our world.
