The new FEEM Board of Directors takes office and appoints the Scientific Advisory Board

Abstract

The new FEEM Board of Directors has taken office on February 2, 2010. Members of the Board are: Giovanni Bazoli, Raffaella Leone, Leonardo Maugeri, Alberto Meomartini, Joaquìn Navarro-Valls, Angelo Maria Petroni, Roberto Poli, Alberto Quadrio Curzio, Giulio Sapelli, Paolo Scaroni, Domenico Siniscalco and Guido Tabellini. Paolo Scaroni has been confirmed Chairman of the Board. 

The Board of Directors has also appointed the new Scientific Advisory Board whose members are: Carlo Carraro (Università Ca’ Foscari - Chairman), Christopher Allsopp (Oxford Institute for Energy Studies), Thomas Heller (Stanford Law School, Soros Foundation), David Hobbs (Cambridge Energy Research Associates), Ernest Moniz (MIT), Robert Socolow (Princeton University) and Robert Stavins (Harvard University).

"FEEM boasts a board of directors of outstanding competence and profile. It will be an honour and a privilege to work under its guidance", declared Bernardo Bortolotti, FEEM Executive Director. "With the contribution of the new Scientific Advisory Board, FEEM will advance the research frontiers on energy and the environment, and enhance further its international credibility. On behalf of the Chairman I extend my appreciation to the outgoing members of the Scientific Advisory Board for their support and for the excellent work in the last years."

Milano, 4 Febbraio 2010. La Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei comunica che nella seduta del 2 Febbraio si è insediato il nuovo Consiglio di Amministrazione così composto: Giovanni Bazoli, Raffaella Leone, Leonardo Maugeri, Alberto Meomartini, Joaquìn Navarro-Valls, Angelo Maria Petroni, Roberto Poli, Alberto Quadrio Curzio, Giulio Sapelli, Paolo Scaroni, Domenico Siniscalco e Guido Tabellini. Il consiglio ha confermato come Presidente Paolo Scaroni.

Il Consiglio ha anche nominato il nuovo Comitato Scientifico composto da Carlo Carraro (Università Cà Foscari, Presidente), Christopher Allsopp (Oxford Institute for Energy Studies), Thomas Heller (Stanford Law School, Soros Foundation), David Hobbs (Cambridge Energy Research Associates), Ernest Moniz (MIT), Robert Socolow (Princeton University) e Robert Stavins (Harvard University).
