FEEM is among the over 30 leading climate modelling research centres in the world involved in the drawing up of the Emissions Gap Report, an unprecedented partnership coordinated by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) aimed to “spell out what the pledges of the past 12 months by governments might actually mean in terms of putting the world on track to limit global temperature rises”.

The report was launched to the media on 23 November 2010 in Helsinki/London/Mexico City/Nairobi/Washington DC, just before the start of the UN Climate Change Conference in Cancun, Mexico, from 29 November to 10 December.
