Profile

Caterina Verrone graduated in 2008 in Interior Design at Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis on the refunctionalization of industrial areas and spaces for art and coworking (Supervisors: Prof. Andrea Branzi and Prof.Christian Galli). Moreover, she holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Planning and Management of Innovative Archaeological Areas from Accademia Adrianea, with a thesis on museographic devices in contemporary metropolis moving for an exhibition display for Largo di Torre Argentina in Rome (Supervisors: Marina Mattei, Prof. Pier Federico Caliari). After completing her Master’s Degree she achieved a 3 years working experience in several Architectural firms in Milan (retail, office, hospitality and exhibition design) from 2007 to 2010. Since 2010 she collaborates with the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei within the area of innovative forms of tourism and design proposals and support at the education for divulgation and publishing of scientifc themes, creating also Graphics and Illustration for the publications. Since 2009 she works as teaching assistant at Politecnico di Milano supporting teaching activities in laboratories curated by Prof. Andrea Branzi, Prof. Michele De Lucchi, Prof. Barbara Camocini and Prof. Alessandro Biamonti. She participates as a  teaching assistant in design laboratory of therapeutic spaces for Alzheimer’s patients. She is co-founder of ManiFestArt, contemporary art exhibition for the young artists in Cilento, held from 2005 to 2007 in Sant’Angelo a Fasanella.
