Profile
Veronica Ronchi holds a degree in Contemporary History from University of Milan (2004) and a Master in Economic History and Political Economics from the University of Buenos Aires (2007). She is a research fellow at the Department of History and Historical Documentation at the University of Milan and Associate Researcher at the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM). She is now conducting doctoral research in business history and corporate finance at the University of Milan and she’s member of the SISE (Italian Economic History Society).
Veronica's research focuses on the economic contemporary history of Latin America, in particular in the cases of Mexico and Argentina. Her research interests are in the area of business history, corporate social responsibility and cooperative movement.
Her publications include the essays: “Populism and Neopopulism in Latin America: Clientelism, Trade Union Organisation and Electoral Support in Mexico and Argentina in the '90s”, "The Neoliberal Myth in Latin America: The Cases of Mexico and Argentina in the '90s" (2007) and the pamphlet “Buone Regole per la cura dell’altro. Not-for-profit e governance. Perché ARGIS” (Good practises of care for each other. Not-for-profit and governance. Why ARGIS) (2008). She co-authored with Giulio Sapelli the books: Modernizzazione senza sviluppo. Il capitalismo secondo Pasolini (Modernization without development. The capitalism according to Pasolini) (2005) and Diario Americano (American Diary) (2006).
