Since 2011, researcher at the Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth (IRCrES, Milan) of the National Research Council of Italy (research fellowships and collaboration contracts in the 2001-2011 period). Main fields of expertise: environmental policies and legislation (with a specific focus on waste, chemicals, water and natural disasters); environmental institutions and related interactions. Research and work experience: as a researcher at IRCrES, I’ve contributed extensively to the activities of the international consortium European Topic Centre, supporting the work of the European Environment Agency; teaching assistance at Catholic University (assistant professor of ‘Environmental Management Law and Instruments’ in 2015-2017); research and policy consultant; author or contributor of several papers in peer-reviewed journals (e.g. Land Use Policy, International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction, RECIEL, etc.). Studies: PhD in ‘Policies and Institutions’ (Catholic University, Milan; research visiting at GIWA -Global International Waters Assessment-, Sweden); post-graduate master in 'Markets and Institutions of the Global System' at ASERI (Catholic University, Milan); degree in Law (Catholic University, Milan).
