Lorenzo Messaggi holds an MA in Philosophy obtained from the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in September 2011 with a thesis on the French Degrowth Movement. Back to Italy, he attended a master course in Management of Food&Beverage at the University of Gastronomic Sciences and he prepared a dissertation on the potential of Turin as a destination for budget tourism (defended in September 2013).

Lorenzo joined Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei in September 2012 and started working within the Scientific Secretariat of the Eni Award. He is mainly involved in research activities, contacts and support in the whole application procedure for potential applicants for the Prize (especially focusing on Italian PhD candidates and Philosopy Doctors suitable for the Debut in Research Prize).
