Profile

Architect and Urban Planner. Double degree PhD Student in “Hydro-Logic Design”, researching on “coastal systems to face complex social, economic, climate change and extreme events” at Iuav University of Venice and at the University of Copenhagen. After accomplished a bachelor in Science of Architecture at the Politecnico of Milan, he moved to Venice to follow the European Master “Planning and policies for cities, environment and landscape” at Iuav and accomplished 6 months Erasmus exchange at UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) at the Department of Geography. 2014, he graduated. During the university studies, he accomplished a 10 months internship at the Government of Flanders at the Regional Planning Research Department where he was involved in the project of requalification of the northern metropolitan part of Brussels Capital Region. Since May 2015 he has been collaborating as a researcher at Planning Climate Change LAB of the Iuav University of Venice both on climate change and Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) thematic. In 2019 he was invited to participate as a consultant for the European Commission at “GCoM’s Training on Urban Adaptation to Climate Change, Iskandar, Malaysia” and as a lecture at “BLOXHUB Summer School on Urban Resilience 2019, Copenhagen”. His research is moving from cities to coastal and sea environment with a particular focus on the complex relation between anthropic and natural elements and climate change.
