Profile

Yu did her PhD in Behavioral Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam, with a thesis on time preference in money vs. health, and decision making under uncertainty. She holds an MSc in Economics from Tinbergen Institute at University of Amsterdam. Yu loves experiments, both laboratory and field. She is interested in applying her knowledge in human decision making to public policy. As a visitor at FEEM, she works on understanding people’s energy consumption using behavioral tools, and using behavioral interventions to help people make better decisions. She is a runner and tries to run (half) marathons in a lot of places in the world.
