Francesco Calabrese graduated at University of Basilicata, School of Engineering in Potenza, Master Degree in engineering architectural (Class of Specialist Degrees in Architecture and Building Engineering) with a degree thesis entitled “Energy Upgrade of Terzella’s palace, the ENI museum in Tramutola (PZ) Italy” in collaboration with FEEM Viggiano where a new method of approach to the intervention of restoration of ancient buildings has been developed. This method allows adaptation and improvement of the comfort of livable decaying old structures, through the use of modern techniques and materials, without compromising the dictates and characteristics of the structure.
He is mainly interested in engineering, eco-sustainable designing and architectural renovation.
