Benedetta Bonometti
Profile
Benedetta Bonometti is a Junior Researcher at the Future Energy Program (FEP) at FEEM. Her research interest focuses on nuclear, oil and gas policies as well as energy transition in the Middle East and North Africa.
She holds a MSc in Public Policy with specialization in Energy, Resources and Development from Sciences Po Paris with a final project on the trade-off between energy system resilience and diversification of energy sources in Saudi Arabia. She also holds a BSc in International Politics and Government from Bocconi University in Milan.
During her studies, Benedetta had the opportunity to deepen her understanding of energy policies in the MENA region. Indeed, she interned at Issam Fares Institute at the American University of Beirut in the Energy Policy and Security Program with a focus on nuclear policies. She also participated in a program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia centered around various economic and energy related topics and organized by Aramco and King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies.
