UN promotes #BeatPlasticPollution initiative (take a look to this video!) during the World Environment Day (June 5th, 2018). This year, the event is focused on the fight against plastic waste and pollution because UN wants to raise awareness on recycling solutions and reuse, from the perspective of environment protection and circular economy.

Since its creation, Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) is committed in sustainability research, especially in economic issues, environment and energy (the three “E” that appears in FEEM logo).

Since 2015, the Foundation promotes innovative ideas and solutions for the application of both 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) identified by UN for a sustainable development of Planet Earth. Many of the 17 SDGs – the aims are interconnected and should be pursued globally – are referred to environmental protection.

During World Environment Day, young people under 30 years old will be awarded at FEEM headquarters in Milan for “Youth in Action for Sustainable Development Goals” contest. This initiative aims to find innovative solutions able to pursue SDGs in Italy and it is promoted by FEEM, Fondazione Italiana Accenture and Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli.
