Fondazione
Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) and SDSN Italia, of which FEEM is co-founder and
hosting institution, are – among other institutions – partners of Climathon, the hackathon that will take place simultaneously in many cities all
over the world on 27 October 2017. FEEM will take part in the Politecnico di Milano event with its researchers to support participants in the definition of their
proposals. 

Climathon
gathers people who wants to give their contribution of passion and ability to
tackle the world’s most important challenges. More particularly, Climathon
brings together innovators, big thinkers, entrepreneurs, technical experts and
students to create innovative and brilliant solutions to support cities to
solve climate mitigation challenges. Side-events will be hosted by different
locations such as major universities, research center, corporate offices and
government facilities around the world. 

Each city
sets its local climate challenges that affect the urban life. Participants
tackle the set challenge for a full 24-hours, and then they pitch their ideas
in front of relevant local stakeholders. Moreover, participants shall identify
concrete and tangible solutions to address city climate challenges across
the globe.
