International cooperation to reduce GHG emissions has been so far unsuccessful in defining national targets with the aspiration to keep global warming within safe boundaries (Rockstrom et al. 2009). Innovation and technology cooperation has been frequently suggested as a possible way out of this deadlock. This seminar is based on a paper co-authored by Melanie Heugues, Valentina Bosetti and Alessandro Tavoni.
