While Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCPs) mitigation provides important climate and societal benefits in the near-term, its implications for achieving the 2°C target have been studied to a lesser extent. This article by FEEM researcher Elisa Calliari reviews some recent literature on the topic with the aim of complementing and directing policy debate with the latest scientific evidence.
