FEEM participates to the SDSN Leadership Council Meeting 2018

FEEM participates to the SDSN Leadership Council Meeting in New York on September 23-24, 2018. The SDSN Leadership Council brings together global sustainable development leaders from all regions. It acts as the board of SDSN. During the Leadership Council, many themes will be discussed with implications for government, academia, and civil society. In particular, Leaders will review the progress towards implementing the Paris Agreement and SDSN’s strategic directions. They will share national experiences and the local SDG’s implementation process. Moreover, they will discuss business and the SDGs and the investment needs and macroeconomics to achieve the SDGs.

Much of SDSN’s activities are led by National or Regional SDSNs, which mobilize knowledge institutions around the SDGs. In order to align the content and to stress the specificities that exist in the different regions and countries, managers will meet and discuss during a dedicated Workshop, that will take place on September 25-28, 2018. Laura Cavalli, FEEM researcher and SDSN Italia Manager will attend the workshop, a real opportunity to start collaborations within networks, to share all the best practices and to find solutions to the challenges the world is facing.
