FEEM is scientific partner in the “Last Call to Europe 2020” International Conference



FEEM will take part as scientific partner in the “Last Call to Europe 2020” international conference organized on June 19 by Fondazione Sodalitas at the World EXPO 2015-Site in Milan. Europe 2020 is the European Union’s ten-year jobs and growth strategy launched in 2010 to create the conditions for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. Five headline targets have been agreed for the EU to achieve by the end of 2020. These cover employment; research and development; climate/energy; education; social inclusion and poverty reduction.

The conference is focused on enhancing the enterprises’ commitment towards the Europe 2020 strategy to achieve smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in the next future.
At the morning Plenary session, European Commission representatives, Italian CSR Europe members, Business Organization Presidents and Worldwide/European CEOs will bring their experience on the most relevant business challenges. The afternoon session will be composed of 3 international workshops focused on the most impactful drivers for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in Europe for 2015-2020.

At the conference CSR Europe, the leading European business network for Corporate Social Responsibility, will share the“Milan Manifesto - Enterprise 2020” a strategic direction jointly developed by the 10,000 companies  included in the 41 National CSR organizations gathered in the network. Last Call to Europe 2020 represents an opportunity to meet with some of the most advanced European and international enterprises working to achieve a more equitable and sustainable Europe for millions of European citizens. The Conference has gained the patronage of the Milan EXPO and the European Commission.
