Conference: "Achieving the 2030 Agenda for Development: Expo Legacy and Sustainable Development Goals"

2015 has been a crucial year for sustainable development. Within Expo Milano 2015, Italy has promoted the right to food as a fundamental human right through the Charter of Milan, and the United Nations have approved the new 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), discussed in advance in the Pope’s Encyclical on sustainable development. Finally, the long awaited Conference of the Parties on climate change will be held in Paris in December.
