On Monday 21st September 2020 the Board of Directors of Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) appointed Alessandro Lanza as new FEEM Executive Director.
Alessandro Lanza, PhD in Economy at University College London, is currently teaching Energy and Environmental Policy at LUISS (Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli).
He is member of ENEA B.o.D since 2016 and he is part of the editorial staff of Lavoce.info. He has a long experience in researching, teaching and managing, holding different roles in Italy and abroad: Senior Analyst at IEA (International Energy Agency), Chief Economist at Eni, CEO at Eni Corporate University and Senior Research Fellow at the Research Centre KAPSARC, Saudi Arabia.

Among his valuable experiences, it has to be mentioned his participation in the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) as Leading author. The IPCC won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.

Alessandro Lanza is author of several publications on scientific periodicals and various monographies.

Paolo Carnevale, outgoing Director, will reach a new position in Eni.
