Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) and Kenya Institute for Public Policy and Research Analysis (KIPPRA) co-launch a high-level Workshop for the presentation of their respective integrated models for country analysis.
FEEM will introduce its in-house developed framework country study, FEEM CIVICS (ComprehensIVe & Integrated Country Study), a research tool to be presented to locally-operating decision-makers with the twofold objective of evaluating national strategic plans for different sectors and supporting Kenya for the impact-assessment of the relative potential implementation actions whether at national level or with regard to the African Union’s 2063 Agenda.
Moreover, it provides an overall assessment of environmental impacts of National Strategic Plans and of their relative potential implementation actions, effects on SDGs at national level and their compliance with NDCs – Paris Agreement.
The event will be enriched by the presence of local and international institutional partners, such as the Kenyan Ministry of Devolution and Planning, the Kenyan Ministry of Energy, the World Bank, the Italian Embassy in Nairobi, the European Commission.
