JPI Climate was launched in 2011 and now involves 14 European countries which are committed to coordinating their activities in the field of climate research.
JPI Climate provides a platform for climate knowledge and decision support services for societal innovation. Activities are focussed on four themes: improving climate projections, climate services, societal transformations and decision support tools.
The workshop will explore engagement opportunities with funding agencies and researchers in countries not currently linked with JPI Climate with a view to expanding access to knowledge and evidence from research across Europe to better inform policy and practice initiatives.
This event aims at representatives from national funding agencies and key climate research organisations in both the natural and social sciences, with a focus on promoting engagement with and between countries not already members of JPI Climate.
